LA GRANGE – A section of N.C 903 in Lenoir County is scheduled to close for two days this week while N.C. Department of Transportation maintenance crews replace a pipe.
The closure is located near North Charles Street. Crews plan to begin work at 8 a.m. Tuesday and complete the project and reopen the road Thursday morning. The work is weather permitting.
NCDOT will replace the existing pipe with a larger one that can better handle drainage during storms.
Traffic will be detoured on to Brothers and Five Points roads. Drivers should take the closure into account when planning their travel and be cautious near the work zone.
