ARBOR HILLS – An intersection in Pitt County will soon have a new traffic pattern after a department study determined the change would reduce crashes.
Tuesday morning, N.C. Department of Transportation crews will install stop signs and pavement markings on Portertown Road at the intersection with Eastern Pines Road. The transformation to the intersection is expected to be complete by mid-afternoon the same day, weather permitting.
