RALEIGH – N.C. Department of Transportation contract crews plan to close a section of Hillsborough Street this weekend to conduct waterline work.
Hillsborough Street is set to be closed just west of Blue Ridge Road from 7 a.m. Saturday through Sunday evening.
During the closure, drivers can use Blue Ridge Road, Trinity Road, and Youth Center Drive to access points on either side of the work zone.
Drivers should take into account the detour when planning their commute and remain alert around the work zone.
