GREENSBORO – A section of Interstate 73 near the N.C. 68 interchange will have its shoulder closed in both directions for two years to allow contractors to construct access roads to the future aircraft manufacturing plant.
Starting Oct. 3, both shoulders of I-73 will be closed between mile markers 109 and 111. The shoulder is expected to reopen by late summer 2024.
Motorists should remain alert, drive cautiously and slow down as they travel near the work zone.
