HIGH POINT – The inside lanes in both directions of Interstate 85 Business that spans South Main Street will be closed for three days in preparation for a temporary bridge installation.
N.C. Department of Transportation contractors will close the bridge’s inside lanes at 9 a.m. Friday. The lanes are expected to reopen by 6 a.m. Monday.
This work is being done in preparation for placing traffic on a temporary bridge to replace the existing one.
Drivers should be cautious and alert when driving through the work zone.
