WINSTON-SALEM – N.C. Department of Transportation contractors will continue maintenance and construction along Interstate 40 in Forsyth County on Monday, weather permitting.
One of two southbound lanes on Hanes Mall Boulevard will be closed near the I-40 overpass from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The following closures are scheduled to take place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:
- One of two lanes are scheduled to be closed on I-40 East from Union Cross Road to east of Highway 66.
- One of two lanes are scheduled to be closed on I-40 West from east of Highpoint Road to west of I-74.
- Two of three lanes are scheduled to be closed on I-40 West from Peters Creek Parkway to west of Stratford Road.
Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zones and plan accordingly for delays.
