WINSTON-SALEM – N.C. Department of Transportation crews plan to implement alternating lane closures on a section of U.S. 52 this weekend, weather permitting.
Beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, U.S. 52 North will have alternating lane closures near the Ziglar Road overpass, just north of Hanes Mill Road. The closures are necessary to allow crews to finish construction of the new section of U.S. 52 that will tie into the Winston-Salem Northern Beltway project.
Work is expected to be complete by Monday.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and remain alert when traveling through the area.
