WINSTON-SALEM – The N.C. Department of Transportation plans to temporarily close a section of highway in Forsyth County for a maintenance project starting tomorrow night.
Beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, the right lane of U.S. 52 northbound will be closed near Hanes Mill Road toward N.C. 65. The closure is necessary for paving and striping operations. The lane is expected to be reopened by 6 a.m. Friday.
Motorists are advised to slow down and remain alert when traveling through the work zone.
