WINSTON-SALEM – N.C. Department of Transportation contractors will continue maintenance and construction along Interstate 40 in Forsyth County this week, weather permitting.
The following lane closures are scheduled to take place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:
- Tonight, two of three lanes are scheduled to be closed on I-40 West from east of Peters Creek Parkway to west of Stratford Road.
- From tonight through Wednesday night, the left lane is scheduled to be closed on the Exit 188 offramp from I-40 West towards U.S. 421 North.
- On Wednesday, two of three lanes are scheduled to be closed on I-40 East from the U.S. 421/I-40 split to Peters Creek Parkway.
- On Thursday, two of three lanes are scheduled to be closed on I-40 East from east of Hanes Mall Boulevard to west of U.S. 52.
Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zones and plan accordingly for delays.
