SALISBURY – A road in Rowan County will need to be closed this weekend to allow Interstate 85 Commerce Center Development contract forces to complete nighttime paving operations.
From 7 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. the following morning, Webb Road will be closed in both directions between U.S. 29 (South Main Street) and the I-85 South ramp while crews complete a road widening project.
Traffic will be detoured to U.S. 29, Peeler Road and I-85 for the duration of closure.
Motorists are advised to use extra caution when approaching the work zone and while using detours.
