WINSTON-SALEM – The N.C. Department of Transportation is implementing lane closures on U.S. 421 in Forsyth County this week and next week to make pavement repairs under the Scott Road overpass.
Tomorrow morning, the right lane of U.S. 421 North will be closed between Exit 246 and the Yadkin River line.
On Jan. 10 at 9 a.m., the right lane of U.S. 421 South will be closed in the same area.
Both closures are expected to last all day until repairs are complete and are dependent on weather conditions.
Motorists are reminded to drive slowly and remain alert when approaching the work zone.
