WINSTON-SALEM – One lane of a Forsyth County bridge will close for four days next week to allow an N.C. Department of Transportation contractor to complete a maintenance project.
Beginning Monday, one of two lanes of the bridge on U.S. 421 North that carries traffic over U.S. 158 (Reidsville Road) will close from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily so contract crews can perform maintenance on the bridge expansion joints. Work is expected to be complete by Jan. 12.
Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the area and plan accordingly for delays.
