WINSTON-SALEM – N.C. Department of Transportation contractors plan to utilize a slow-moving operation along Interstate 40 in Forsyth County tonight from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning to place new pavement markings, weather permitting.
From 8 to 8:30 p.m., operations will be conducted in the right lane of I-40 West from High Point Road to west of Stratford Road.
From 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., operations will shift to the right lane of I-40 East from Stratford Road to the Guilford County line.
From 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., the following ramps adjacent to I-40 will be affected:
- Union Cross Road
- U.S. 311
- N.C. 109
- Peters Creek Parkway
- Hanes Mall Boulevard
- Stratford Road
- Silas Creek Parkway
- N.C. 66
