CHAPEL HILL– State transportation crews will close Whitfield Road in both directions to install a new pipe.
The road will close starting on March 14 at 10 a.m. and is expected to reopen on March 24.
The following detour will be provided using Sunrise and Weaver Dairy Roads.
Drivers should remain cautious and alert when approaching the road closure.
