CLAREMONT – N.C. Department of Transportation maintenance crews will be working on Interstate 40 over Lyle Creek tonight, weather permitting.
The eastbound left lane will be closed near mile marker 136 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday so crews can safely patch potholes. The Catawba County rest area will also be closed during this time.
Drivers can continue east to the Davie County rest area near mile marker 177.
