KERNERSVILLE – An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will close one lane of Interstate 40 in Forsyth County overnight for a construction project.
From 8 p.m. tonight until 6 a.m. the following morning, the right lane of I-40 West will be closed from the Guilford County Line to Union Cross Road. The closure is necessary to allow crews to apply new pavement markings to the roadway.
Motorists are reminded to remain alert in the work zone and plan accordingly for delays.
