WINSTON-SALEM – N.C. Department of Transportation bridge maintenance staff will temporarily close a lane and ramp on U.S. 52 in Forsyth County next week to repair a concrete bridge deck.
On April 3-4, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, the right lane of the U.S. 52 South bridge and the onramp from North Patterson Avenue to access U.S. 52 South will be closed.
During the work hours, traffic needing to access U.S. 52 South will be detoured to North Patterson Avenue and N.C. 8 (Germanton Road) to return to U.S. 52.
Motorists should use extra caution in the work zone and allow extra time for detours.
