LEXINGTON – N.C. Department of Transportation crews will close a section of U.S. 64 in Davidson County next week with detours for a daytime maintenance project, weather permitting.
On April 11, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., U.S. 64 will be closed in both directions near Heath Church Road to allow crews to safely repave the highway.
Westbound traffic will turn right on Smith Farm Road and left on Heath Church Road to continue on U.S. 64. Eastbound traffic will turn left on Heath Church Road to return to U.S. 64.
Motorists should remain alert while approaching the work zone and adjusting to the detours.
