THOMASVILLE – N.C. Department of Transportation crews will close a Davidson County road next week for a two-day culvert replacement project.
Beginning April 26 at 8:30 a.m., Old Greensboro Road will be closed near Midway School Road. The current structure has failed and the replacement is necessary to prevent further damage to the road and nearby properties. Work is expected to be complete by midday April 27.
Traffic will be detoured to Ball Road, Whiteheart School Road and Midway School Road.
The alternate dates for this project are May 1-2.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and use extra caution while adjusting to detours.
