CHARLOTTE – Tonight, N.C. Department of Transportation contract crews will continue a bridge rehabilitation project on the Brookshire Freeway end of Interstate 277, focusing on pavement marking repairs and bridge work.
Each night through Sunday morning, crews will close these ramps:
- From the inner loop to I-77 North, I-77 South, U.S. 74 West and South Boulevard
- From I-77 North to the inner loop
- From I-77 South to the outer loop
- From the outer loop to I-77 North
The ramp closures will occur from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night through Friday morning, then from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday morning and from 6 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday morning. These closures are dependent on favorable weather and subject to change.
Drivers are encouraged to slow down and use extra caution while going through the work zones.
