WINSTON-SALEM – An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will close lanes and ramps along Interstate 40 in Forsyth County tonight and tomorrow for an ongoing rehabilitation and bridge preservation project, weather permitting.
- Tonight, two of three lanes will be closed on I-40 East from west of Peters Creek Parkway to west of U.S. 52 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
- Tonight, the onramp from Peters Creek Parkway to I-40 East will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning with a detour.
- Tomorrow, two of three lanes will be closed on I-40 West from U.S. 52 to Peters Creek Parkway from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zones and plan accordingly for delays.
