​STATESVILLE – A section of a local road is set to close tonight while crews apply a fresh coat of pavement.
East Front Street is set to close between Tradd Street and Salisbury Road from 9 tonight until 6 in the morning.
During this time, drivers will be directed to follow North Tradd Street (U.S. 64), East Broad Street and Salisbury Road to access points on either side of the closure.
Drivers are urged to factor the short detour into their commutes and be mindful of crews working overnight in this area.
