DURHAM – Contract crews plan to close lanes along the Durham Freeway overnight to conduct repair work.
Two of three lanes of N.C. 147 South are set to be closed near Grant Street from 8 tonight until 6 in the morning so crews can repair a pothole on the bridge that carries the freeway over the local road.
Drivers headed south on N.C. 147 during this timeframe are urged to anticipate the lane reduction, obey posted signage and be cautious as crews will be working adjacent to the lane that will remain open to traffic.
