CHARLOTTE – This week, N.C. Department of Transportation contract crews will continue a bridge rehabilitation project on the John Belk Freeway end of Interstate 277, requiring overnight closures.
Crews will close the following areas from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Thursday and Friday nights, weather permitting:
- The bridge taking U.S. 74 (Wilkinson Blvd) East bridge over I-77
- Exit ramp from I-77 South to I-277 Outer/U.S. 74 East (exit 9B)
- Exit ramp from I-277 Outer to I-77 North (exit 1C)
All closures are weather dependent and subject to change.
