WINSTON SALEM – An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will implement overnight lane closures next week as a part of the Hanes Mill Road Widening project in Forsyth County, weather permitting.
The following closures will take place from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning:
Monday:
- The left lane on U.S. 52 northbound will be closed University Parkway to Ziglar Road.
Tuesday:
- The left lane on U.S. 52 northbound will be closed University Parkway to Ziglar Road.
- The left lane on U.S. 52 southbound from Ziglar Road to University Parkway.
Wednesday:
- The left on U.S. 52 northbound will be closed from University Parkway to Ziglar Road.
- The left on U.S. 52 southbound from Ziglar Road to University Parkway.
Thursday:
- The right lane on U.S. 52 southbound will be closed from Ziglar Road to University Parkway.
Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zones and plan accordingly for delays.
