YADKINVILLE - The N.C. Department of Transportation is temporarily installing all-way stops on the bridge at Speer Bridge Road today.
Speer Bridge Road was recently opened to thru traffic after the bridge over U.S. 421 was replaced.
To increase visibility and safety, all-way stops will remain at both ramps on the bridge temporarily until a permanent solution is determined.
Motorists are encouraged to slow down and use caution when exiting U.S. 421 and approaching the new traffic pattern.
