WINSTON SALEM –An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will implement overnight lane closures tonight on Interstate 40 in Forsyth County for an ongoing rehabilitation and bridge preservation project, weather permitting.
The following closure will take place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:
- Two of three will close on I-40 west from Peters Creek Parkway to Stratford Road
The following closure will take place from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:
- The off ramp from I-40 west to Hanes Mall Boulevard will closed with a detour.
The following closure will take place from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:
- The on ramp from Peters Creek Parkway to I-40 west will be closed with a detour.
Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zones and plan accordingly for delays.
