NC Quick Pass Doubles Rocky Mount Staff After One Year of Operations

ROCKY MOUNT – October 2022, the North Carolina Turnpike Authority (NCTA) opened a new NC Quick Pass call center at the N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles headquarters in Rocky Mount to meet the increasing demand for NC Quick Pass customers. Today, with NC Quick Pass' continued focus on providing outstanding customer service, NC Quick Pass is happy to announce the number of employees has nearly doubled from 37 to 80 customer service representatives and supervisors.

“We are grateful for the Rocky Mount community and workforce for embracing NC Quick Pass and our customers," said Angela Queenland, Manager, Customer Service Center, N.C. Turnpike Authority. “Together, we have created job opportunities and improved the customer experience by hiring great people."

“The NC Quick Pass office is a great place to work. With employment opportunities being limited in the area, the steady customer service job has really changed my life. Getting the training and helping people is the best, said Trishaka Perry-Mansel, Customer Service Representative, a resident of Rocky Mount.

There are three existing toll facilities in North Carolina – the Triangle Expressway, the Monroe Expressway and the I-77 Express Lanes. The one-year-old call center in Rocky Mount is planning future expansion to accommodate expected customer growth once the 18-mile extension of the Triangle Expressway (Complete 540 Phase 1) opens to traffic in late spring 2024.
