Public Meeting Upcoming for Trinity Road Project


CARY- The public is invited to a meeting with the N.C. Department of Transportation to discuss proposed improvements to Trinity Road where it crosses the North Carolina Railroad tracks in Cary.

The project would replace the existing crossing with a bridge to carry Trinity Road over the railroad tracks.

The meeting will be held Nov. 20 at Herbert Young Community Center, 101 Wilkinson Ave., Cary. The public is invited to attend at any time from 5-7 p.m.

Project details can be found on the NCDOT project web page. This information will also be on display at the meeting, allowing for one-on-one discussion with engineers. There will not be a formal presentation.

People may submit comments on the project by Dec. 3 by calling 984-205-6615 (project code 4495), emailing, or mailing Tamara Njegovan, NCDOT Rail Division-Senior Rail Project Development Engineer, 1 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh NC 27601.

​NCDOT will provide auxiliary aids and services under the Americans with Disabilities Act for disabled people who wish to participate in this meeting.
