Forsyth County Highway Requires Temporary Lane Closure

WINSTON SALEM– N.C. Department of Transportation crews will temporarily close one lane on Interstate 40 in Forsyth County for bridge repairs.

Starting Monday at 9 a.m., the left lane will close near Thomasville Road (mile marker 195.5) on I-40 East crossing under N.C. 109. The closure is needed for crews to safely make repairs to the bridge bearing. All lanes are expected to reopen by 3 p.m.
