HENDERSONVILLE — Weather permitting, N.C. Department of Transportation contract crews will continue work on Interstate 26 West between mile markers 49-44 this weekend.
The westbound lanes will be closed near Exit 49 (U.S. 64/Four Seasons Boulevard) from 8 p.m. Sunday until 6 a.m. Monday.
Access from U.S. 64 in both directions will also be restricted. The entrance ramps from U.S. 64 East and West to I-26 West will be closed from 8 p.m. Sunday to 6 a.m. Monday.
​Transportation officials remind drivers to slow down, obey all posted signs and remain alert while driving in work zones.
