THOMASVILLE – Crews plan to close Liberty Drive next week to improve its alignment with Cedar Lodge Road.
The closure is scheduled to begin at 7:15 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 21, weather permitting. Liberty Drive is expected to reopen by Sept. 8.
A
detour will direct drivers to use Cedar Lodge Road and N.C. 109. Cedar Lodge Road will remain open for this project, but drivers should slow down and be alert in the work area.
