RALEIGH – Construction will close all lanes of Interstate 440 West at Western Boulevard to repair the elevation difference at the Western Boulevard bridge.
This work is part of the I-440 and Blue Ridge Road Improvement project. Weather permitting, work is set to start this Sunday at midnight and reopen Monday morning at 5.
Traffic will need to exit at Western Boulevard then take Jones Franklin Road to get back to I-440 West.
