DENTON – N.C. Department of Transportation crews will close Tysinger Road March 18, weather permitting.
Starting at 8 a.m. Monday, the road will be closed so crews can safely replace a pipe under the roadway. The work is anticipated to last a few days, reopening on March 22.
During the closure, a posted detour will guide traffic from Tysinger Road to Regan Road to Highway 109 to Emmons Mine Road.
Drivers are encouraged to stay alert and use caution when nearing the work zone and following the detours.
