RALEIGH - In February 2023, NC Quick Pass relaunched ncquickpass.com, streamlining the customer experience and making it easier than ever to create or manage a NC Quick Pass account, pay a bill, order a new transponder and more.
Since launching the new website, 110,000 new accounts have been created and 290,000 transponders have been sold. Part of this growth is owed to the website’s new ability to allow customers to create an account while paying their most recent toll invoice. Since launching the new website last year, ncquickpass.com has seen a 63% increase in website traffic.
“NC Quick Pass is proud of the improvements we have made to the customer experience,” said JJ Eden, Executive Director of the N.C. Turnpike Authority. “We are hard at work continuing to enhance and simplify our customer experience for the 2+ million annual customers we serve.”
Beyond the customer-facing website, last year’s updates also extensively reworked NC Quick Pass’ back-office system, assisting more than 1 million customers in person or over the phone. More than 150,000 customers have also chosen to download the new NC Quick Pass app to pay their invoice or manage their account.

North Carolina toll facilities are equipped with all-electronic tolling, which means no toll booths and no need to slow down to pay a toll.
