OXFORD- Multiple sections of Granville County roads will be improved thanks to a $ 1.2 million contract recently awarded to Carolina Sunrock, LLC of Raleigh by the N.C. Department of Transportation.
In total, more than 6 miles of roads, including two sections of Hillsboro Street, a section of Oxford Loop and one section of Old N.C. 75 will be resurfaced to create a smoother ride.
The contractor may begin work this spring with completion expected by fall of 2025.
More details regarding schedules, locations and potential lane closures will be announced at following preconstruction meetings.
