RALEIGH – Contractors for the N.C. Department of Transportation plan to restripe Dawson and McDowell Streets overnight Thursday and Friday.
Work will start each night at 9 p.m. and finish at 6 a.m., weather permitting.
Drivers will have one lane open on Dawson and McDowell Streets during this overnight work so traffic will be able to get into and out of downtown Raleigh.
Transportation officials remind drivers to remain alert, don't drive distracted and obey all the posted signs.
