WINTERVILLE – A Pitt County intersection will be transformed to an all-way stop to improve safety.
Weather permitting, on May 14, the N.C. Department of Transportation will add pavement markings and stop signs on Old Tar Road at the intersection with Vernon White Road.
Drivers are urged to slow down while crews are working and be cautious of the new traffic pattern.
