STOKES COUNTY, N.C. – Following severe weather conditions earlier this week, the N.C. Department of Transportation has confirmed the washout of two roads in Stokes County.
The affected roads are Bethesda Church Road and Franklin Moore Road, which experienced significant damage and are now temporarily closed.
NCDOT maintenance crews are currently assessing the extent of the damage and developing a plan for repairs to both roads. The department is committed to restoring access as quickly and safely as possible.
Motorists are advised to avoid these areas and seek alternative routes until further notice.
