The recent opening of the Triangle Expressway extension has led to thousands of new drivers taking Toll N.C. 540. To assist these new customers, there are multiple ways to pay NC Quick Pass tolls.
“Since opening in late September, nearly 180,000 vehicles have traveled on the new extension of the Triangle Expressway," said N.C. Turnpike Authority Executive Director J.J. Eden. “NC Quick Pass customers have more options than ever to pay the lowest toll and avoid any unnecessary fees."
Customers should be on the lookout for invoices, which are mailed to the registered owner of the vehicle. While the invoice may only be a few dollars, state-mandated late fees will be assessed for bills not paid by the due date.
