New Traffic Patterns at Duplin County Intersections

WARSAW – Multiple intersections in Duplin County will be transformed into all-way stops this month.

N.C. Department of Transportation crews will install pavement markings and stop signs on N.C. 41 at the intersection with Jackson Store Road. Work is scheduled for Jan. 8.

Then, on Jan. 13, the same work will be done on N.C. 50/N.C. 403 at Warren Road and Warren Road and Solomon Street.

Drivers should be alert in these areas while crews work to install the new traffic patterns.

After safety reviews, which include examining traffic volumes and crash patterns, NCDOT determined an all-way stop was the most cost-effective way to improve safety at both intersections. To learn more about an all-way stop, visit this webpage.
