GRAHAM – Starting tonight, a section of East Elm Street (N.C. 49) at the intersection of Harden Street (N.C. 54) in Graham will be temporarily closed nightly to accommodate utility construction work.
The closure will occur each night from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., through Thursday, April 25, 2025, weather permitting.
Drivers will be directed to follow a signed detour route using the following roads: East Harden Street (N.C. 54) to North Main Street (N.C. 87), and back to East Elm Street (N.C. 49).
Motorists are advised to follow detour signs and use caution in the area.
