HOLDEN BEACH - A Brunswick County intersection will be converted to an all-way stop next week to improve safety.
The N.C. Department of Transportation will install stop signs and pavement markings at Old Ferry Connection where it intersects with Stanbury Road on Monday.
An all-way stop is a proven, cost-effective measure designed to enhance intersection safety and reduce the risk of serious crashes. For more information on this initiative, please visit the NCDOT webpage.
Drivers should exercise caution when traveling through the area while the safety improvements are underway. This work is weather-dependent and could be rescheduled.
