WINSTON-SALEM - The N.C. Department of Transportation will close two ramps and one travel lane on Silas Creek Parkway in Forsyth County this week to perform roadway repairs.
Beginning at 9 a.m. tomorrow and continuing through 8 p.m. on Friday, NCDOT maintenance crews will conduct patching in several areas along the roadway.
As part of the scheduled work, the off-ramp from Silas Creek Parkway to Country Club Road and the on-ramp from Country Club Road to Silas Creek Parkway will be closed. In addition, there will be a right lane closure on Silas Creek Parkway from the off-ramp exit to just past the Country Club Road bridge.
These closures are necessary to allow maintenance crews to safely and efficiently complete essential roadway repairs.
Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, use caution while traveling through the work zone, and allow extra time for their commute.
