MEBANE– An N.C. Department of Transportation Contractor will close one northbound & southbound lane of Interstate 40/85 at mile marker 152 as part of the ongoing interchange improvement project at Trollingwood-Hawfields Road.
Beginning at 8 p.m. this Sunday May 4, the right lane will be closed for shoulder repairs. The closure is scheduled to remain in place continuously through 6 a.m. on Monday, May 19th, weather permitting. During this time, three of the four lanes will remain open to traffic.
Drivers should follow all posted signs and traffic control devices and be mindful of crews working in the area.
