HUNTERSVILLE – N.C. Department of Transportation bridge maintenance crews will temporarily close the bridge on McCoy Road over Torrence Creek on May 19 to make improvements to the structure's timber deck.
The closure is anticipated to be in place for three weeks, weather depending.
A detour will be in place for drivers along McIlwaine Road, Beatties Ford Road, Bud Henderson Road and Gilead Road, returning to McCoy Road.
