MOORESVILLE – N.C. Department of Transportation contract crews will be temporarily close Portestowne Way next week as part of the N.C. 150 widening project, weather permitting.
The closure will be in place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday – Thursday, allowing crews to safely install a storm drain at the road's intersection with N.C. 150.
Drivers will be detoured from Portestowne Way to Forester Street and Corporate Center Drive, returning to N.C. 150.
Motorists are encouraged to pay attention when approaching the work zone, obey the posted speed limit, and allow extra time to reach their destinations safely.
