RALEIGH – Beryl Road near Interstate 440 is scheduled be closed in both directions tonight due to ongoing construction associated with the I-440 improvement project.
Crews will close Beryl Road west of Method Road, starting at 8 p.m. today, and reopening at 5 a.m. Friday. The detours are as follows:
- Eastbound traffic will be detoured to Pylon Drive, Hutton Street, Blue Ridge Road, Western Boulevard, Method Road to return to Beryl Road.
- Westbound traffic will be detoured to Method Road, Western Boulevard, Blue Ridge Road, Hutton Street, and Pylon Drive to return to Beryl Road.
Drivers should plan ahead and allow extra travel time during these nighttime hours.
