LOCUST – N.C. Department of Transportation maintenance crews are closing Coley Store Road in Locust tomorrow morning due to a pipe failure caused by recent heavy rainfall.
Repairs will start on Thursday, Aug. 21, after crews gather equipment needed to complete repairs, currently estimated to take at least four weeks.
A signed detour will be in place along Bethel Church Road, Pond Road and N.C. 24/27, returning to Coley Store Road.
Drivers should remain alert, use caution, and prepare for delays.
