WINTERVILLE - The N.C. Department of Transportation will temporarily close a stretch of County Home Road near Winterville next week, weather permitting.
Beginning the morning of Sept. 8, crews will close County Home Road between Worthington and Jack Jones roads to replace two crosslines.
The road is scheduled to reopen by the evening of Sept. 12.
Motorists are encouraged to check DriveNC.gov for updates and utilize the posted detour below:
- County Home Road to Jack Jones Road
- Jack Jones Road to Laurie Ellis Road
- Laurie Ellis Road to Old Tar Road
- Old Tar Road to Worthington Road
- Worthington Road to County Home Road
